| Description | The Swell Consolidation program is a module of the GEOSYSTEM Data Manager for Windows suite of programs. It performs the calculations and prints reports for consolidation and swell consolidation tests carried out to ASTM D 2435 and D 4536 A and B. Calculates compression and recompression indices. Finds preconsolidation pressure. Calculates swell pressure and swell/collapse percentages. Calculates coefficient of primary and secondary consolidation. Uses either square root of time or log of time. Simultaneous display of the compression and time rate curves. Adjustable shape of the compression curve. Selectable coefficient of compression tangent. Determines T0, T50 and T100 for each timed load cycle. Supports US and Metric units converting as needed. |
