Description SADA (Spatial Analysis and Decision Assistance) can be used to address site specific concerns when characterizing a contaminated site, assessing risk, determining the location of future samples, and when designing remedial action. It incorporates tools for visualization, geospatial analysis, statistical analysis, human health risk assessment, ecological risk assessment, cost/benefit analysis, sampling design, and decision analysis. Data exploration tools include 2D and 3D data visualization options. 2D information is presented as simple xy plots. 3D information is presented by 2D slices (layers) or by 3D volume. It can accept map layers in DXF Format. The user can select a sub-region of the site to direct the geospatial and risk analyses. Five geospatial interpolators are included to provide ordinary kriging, indicator kriging, inverse distance, natural neighbor, and nearest neighbor. It provides a full human health risk assessment module and associated databases following the EPA's Risk Assessment Guidance for Superfund (RAGS). Risk results can be produced in standard tabular format or graphically. The ecological risk module allows users to perform benchmark screenings using a database of benchmarks and other information that are supported and updated on the web site. It was designed to provide a variety of summarization, visualization, and modeling tools that aid in making informed decisions including: Decision scales; Defining areas of concern; Cost Benefit Tools; Secondary Sampling Strategies.
