| Description | RcPad is a program to design reinforced concrete spread footings. Users can select either the ACI 318-95 Code or the CSA A23.3-94 Standard. It considers the footing dead load, the water table, and all buoyancy effects. Allows for overturning forces and moments. Design for uplift can be performed. Includes ground anchors to resist overturning moments. Designs footing width, length, and thickness and computes bottom, top, and shear reinforcements if required. Calculates dowel development lengths. Writes results to a footing schedule for insertion onto structural drawings. Uses graphics to describe the footing. Units (US or SI) can be converted back and forth. |
