Description | Slope 2000 can locate the critical failure surface of a slope under general conditions with general constraints. The shape of the failure surface can be either circular or non-circular. It uses the simulated annealing technique to locate the critical failure surface. The user can control the convergence criterion. It includes ten 2D methods of analysis and seven 3D methods of analysis. The slope analysis methods include Bishop, Janbu simplified and rigorous, Morgenstern-Price, Sarma, GLE, Corps of Engineers, Lowe Karafiath, wedge. It can accept an unlimited number of soil layers, vertical and horizontal surcharge loads. It offers automatic search for critical circular and non-circular failure surface. Complicated loads, soil nails and ground water table can be defined. Perched water table and earthquake loads can also be used in the analysis. Output as a graphics file in several bitmap and vector formats. Demonstration version available on WWW. |
