| Description | Visual PEST-ASP combines the parameter estimation capabilities of PEST-ASP (Advanced Spatial Parameterization), with the graphical processing and display features of WinPEST. It can be used to estimate parameters for just about any model. It works by taking control of the model, running it as many times as it needs to while adjusting the parameters of the model until the discrepancies between user-specified outputs and complementary field or laboratory measurements are minimized in the weighted least squares sense.
