AGS data interchange format compatible software

The AGS data interchange format is a standard ASCII file format for transferring digital geotechnical and geoenvironmental data between various software programs. The format has been developed by the Association of Geotechnical and Geoenvironmental Specialists. It is a national standard in the United Kingdom and Hong Kong, and is also being adopted in other countries. The format covers both field and laboratory data, and includes all the data necessary to create borehole and trial pit logs, field testing and insitu monitoring data sheets, laboratory testing results for soil, rock, aggregates, water, gases and contaminants.
