Description	GW-Base is a GIS application and database for the evaluation of all groundwater related data. It is made for use in water management, monitoring, investigation and remediation and can also be used for water management tasks, resource management, groundwater monitoring, well registers, ground water exploration, provision of drinking water or groundwater purification. It handles all information arising from a groundwater surveillance, no matter if it has to do with a water protection zone, a groundwater damage case, a sanitation or a disposal site. Investigation or measurement programs can be defined and routine measurements falling due are displayed. There are various data display and export options. Output includes spreadsheets, contour maps, timeline charts and diagrams. Reports are standardized and oriented towards a target group. Frequently recurring reports can be set up and produced when due, without having to search for the respective data or having to produce every graphic. Background maps can be imported into contour map presentations. Graphics and data are accessible to other Windows programs. An optional ArcView Extension (GW-Arc) is available.
