Description | EKKO_POINTER ground penetrating radar (GPR) software automatically identifies areas where subsurface objects are likely to exist. It searches pulseEKKO GPR data and automatically locates hyperbolas (inverted U's) in the data. Hyperbolas represent localized targets such as metallic and nonmetallic utilities, structures, fractures, voids and disturbed ground. Each point on the data is then automatically rated on a scale of one to 100, where 100 represents the highest likelihood of objects being present. It creates three views of the GPR data; an overhead view (plan-map view), a side view, and an end view. The images produced can be interactively re-colored, re-sized, and printed, plus titles and grid lines can be added. Data below a defined level of quality can be removed from the data set. Two input variables: velocity and depth range, which have automatic defaults. |
