| Description | GGU-SLAB can design foundation slabs using the subgrade or constrained modulus procedures. To solve the differential equations the finite-element method, with triangular elements, is used. The subgrade modulus can be varied as required. The distribution of the constrained modulus can be defined using horizon profiles and an interpolation grid. Other important capabilities are: Any kind of slab outline, including holes. Linearly variable bedding within an element. Framework elements for modelling, e.g. foundation girders. Individual springs, perpendicular to the slab, e.g. for the modelling of piles. |
