Description	GeoEnviron is a database management system dedicated to handling a wide range of environmental information. It is designed for capturing data on a local level and facilitating its communication to regional and central levels as well as the public. It provides facilites to store and manipulate data/information directly as well as create direct links to external electronic data (i.e. text documents, spreadsheets, digital and scanned photo's, maps, drawings, video etc). It is client/server application and can be deployed on a stand alone computer or a network (local or otherwise) system as desired. The system has been designed such that it is able to integrate with external Geographical Information Systems (GIS) such as MapInfo and ArcView.
