Description EDAR-EM is an application from the EDAR family that focuses on the collection and reporting of environmental monitoring data. EDAR (Electronic Data Acquisition and Reporting) is a family of applications that electronically captures data at the time of collection and automatically generates report ready tables, graphs, narrative letters, and electronic data deliverables (EDDs). The system offers the user a secured data access in one centralized location and minimises the frequency of data transfer/transcription. The program access and e-signature features are password controlled for added data security, while storing complete environmental monitoring data in one central location (i.e. photos, field data, laboratory data). It also increases data quality/data integrity by utilizing field validation rules that minimize typographical errors and missing data. It uses hands free synchronization between a field data entry device and the desktop application, and direct access to an analytical methods library that allows the user to search for analytical methods, containers, and holding times.
