Description | Crystal Ball is a spreadsheet add in for carrying out Monte Carlo or latin hypercube forecasting and risk analysis on spreadsheet models. Probability functions modelled: normal (Gaussian), triangular, Poisson, binomial, log-normal, uniform, exponential, geometric, Weibull Beta, hypergeometric, gamma, logistic, pareto and extreme value. Correlation coefficients can be assigned to any pair of assumptions. Forecasts can be displayed as line, area or bar charts or combined into a trend chart. Sensitivity charts. Data import and export to most spreadsheets. Batch Fit - Automated distribution fitting for multiple data sets. Tornado - An alternative to Sensitivity Analysis. Determines the sensitivity of forecast variables to individual input variables before building a model. Correlation Matrix. Bootstrap - Assesses the reliability and accuracy of your forecasts. Decision Table - Creates a data table of forecasts by running simulations along the range for the decision variable(s) defined. 2D-simulation - Independently addresses uncertainty and variability in simulation model to enhance the analysis. Statistically accurate precision control lets the user set simulation stopping criteria based on the precision of the mean, standard deviation, or percentiles. |
