| Description | Footing can be used to design strip footings loaded by a masonry wall, and isolated footings in bi-axial bending. The software will perform all necessary checks, including soil pressure, beam shear and punching shear, and it will design the flexural steel. Isolated footings can have small or large eccentricity in both directions simultaneously. In the case of large eccentricity it will determine the soil contact area, and it will calculate the soil pressure, bending moments and shear forces in the footing. The column can be eccentrically placed on the footing. If some of the design parameters are not satisfied it will provide an adequate comment. |
