| Description | HELP-D is an enhanced version of the Hydrological Evaluation of Landfill Performance (HELP) model developed by the US Corp of Engineers for US EPA. It enhances several hydrological processes (evapotranspiration, plant growth and decay, freezing and thawing of the soil and others) and allows the user to change soil/material and vegetation properties in a simulation run. The output was enhanced for easier postprocessing of the simulation results. Besides a new database for Germany the original database for North America is still available. |
