Description	Carbonate Advisor (CBA) allows analysts to determine lithology from crossplots, compute porosity and volume of components, determine hydrocarbon presence and compute water saturation and net pay. Specifically designed for use with carbonate formations. The interactive screens and technical notes help guide the user through the analysis. Utilises well log data files in ASCII and LAS formats. Lithology crossplots with matrix lines or mineralogy points. Calculation screen displays results in tabular and graphic form. The crossplots can be used to determine pore type and hydrocarbon presence. One pore type is determined for each depth. M can be computed from different models, or when M-O core data is available a transformation can be defined to compute. Water saturation is calculated using Archie's equation, the Carbonate Method and the Ratio Method. A net pay graph summarises the results of the analysis shading the depths of net pay. Designed to be used with various log suites including old electric logs. Utilises core data when available.
