| Description | MLPU is an interactive analytical multiaquifer groundwater model. Wells, linesinks, infiltration ponds and transient wells in systems of up to nine leaky aquifers (separated by aquitards). Aquifer system assumed to be of infinite extent, laterally homogeneous and isotropic, but aquifers can be composed of up to 3 layers with distinct permeability, porosity and thickness; optional top- and bottom aquitards. Output comprises XY maps with DXF background, contour maps, 3D steady and unsteady state pathlines; vertical cross-sections with 3D pathlines and aquifer build-up; flexible time/head graphs with optional posting of observed data, 3D perspective views. Features optimisation (pumping tests) / calibration. |
